It gets cold in our valley in the winter months, and even as Fall begins the temperatures drop drastically (well, when this heatwave finally departs). And boy does it rain! I think one of our next projects is to collect umbrellas for the homeless.
In the meantime we'll donate our collection of scarves to local charities and maybe we can add our scarves (and headbands?) to Operation Christmas Child boxes. Hopefully our Krafty team of crocheters and knitters can keep up with the demand. On to the next project then--beanies, mittens, and baby blankets.
